I've been noticing aphids on the new growth on our citrus trees for a few weeks now. I've been meaning to look into natural aphid control methods, but hadn't gotten around to it yet. Then last night the answer was delivered to my email inbox through the Sustainable Gardening Australia free monthly email Newsletter.
So this morning I went around squishing a few by hand and i'm going to plant a few plants that aphids don't like such as chives, coriander, garlic, onions, petunias or radishes. I'm also going to try the bright yellow plastic dish trick. Learn about these and other equally simple natural aphid control methods by reading the full article here.
Have a lovely weekend.
